Yes. For new buyers, we can provide product samples for laboratory or application testing before proceeding with larger commercial quantities. Samples can be evaluated against the buyer's required specifications and application needs before a trial shipment or bulk order is finalized.
02 How does UMA handle first-time buyer verification and trial shipments? +
We recommend a practical verification process for new relationships. The buyer can first test the sample in their own laboratory or application, followed by a trial shipment so the actual commercial material can be evaluated after arrival. This gives both sides a clearer understanding of product consistency, handling and suitability before moving toward larger-volume cooperation.
03 Can silica sand specifications be customized according to the buyer's application? +
Yes. We can discuss application-specific requirements such as grain size, particle-size distribution, mesh range and other relevant product parameters. The buyer's technical requirement or specification should be shared with our team so that the closest suitable grade and processing approach can be evaluated before quotation and sampling.
04 What information should a buyer provide when requesting a silica sand quotation? +
A useful enquiry should include the intended application, required grade or product type, target particle size or mesh range, estimated quantity, preferred packaging, destination port and preferred commercial terms such as FOB or CIF where applicable. Packaging can be selected according to the product and buyer requirement. Our current Silica Sand offering includes 50 kg bags and jumbo-bag options, including approximately 1 MT and 1.4 MT formats.
